James Cromwell met his Sardi's self on February 27. He was the latest Broadway star to receive a Sardi’s restaurant portrait. Cromwell is currently starring in Bess Wohl’s Grand Horizons on Broadway as Bill, an aging husband whose wife (played by Jane Alexander) decides she wants a divorce after 50 years of marriage. Cromwell, who won an Emmy in 2013 for playing Dr. Arden in American Horror Story and who was nominated for an Academy Award in 1996 for Babe, marks his third Broadway role in Grand Horizons. He made his Broadway debut in a 1970 revival of Othello and played Polonius in a 1993 Broadway production of Hamlet. See Cromwell and the Grand Horizons cast celebrate his Broadway milestone below.
